What's the difference between OEM, Compatible and Remanufactured?

OEM Cartridges :
OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer" which is generally associated with the brand name of the manufacturer.

Compatible Cartridges:

Compatible cartridges are specially manufactured to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and high standards of quality and reliability and also offer high-quality printing results. 100% brand new, containing only new components, they are an economical alternative to expensive name-brand cartridges and supplies and allow for big savings. The use of Compatible replacement cartridges does not void Printer Warranty, which is proven by the following US Congress New Legislation shown below.

Remanufactured Cartridges:

Remanufactured cartridges have been recycled to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. The recycling and reprocessing process involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing worn parts, reassembling, and filling the toner or ink. Once the remanufacturing process is complete, the cartridge is then print tested, sealed, and packaged for resale. All Spot4ink.com remanufactured toner cartridges contain NEW longer life drums and are strongly backed by our 100% quality guarantee! They are cleaned using steam, heat and pressure to ensure an environment free of contamination resulting from old or dried ink. The use of Remanufactured replacement cartridges does not void Printer Warranty, which is proven by the following US Congress New Legislation shown below.

What are Remanufactured Laser Cartridges?

Remanufactured laser cartridges have been remanufactured to perform the same as, or better than new. This is a process that includes: disassembly, cleaning, replacing worn parts, i.e. wiper blade, doctor blade, drum, recovery blade, and any other parts that may have excessive wear from the previous cycle. The hopper is then heat sealed, and refilled with toner either matching or exceeding the original specifications. The cartridge is then reassembled, tested, labeled and packaged for use.

All Spot4ink.com remanufactured toner cartridges contain NEW longer-life drums and are strongly backed by our 100% quality guarantee! The use of Remanufactured replacement cartridges does not void Printer Warranty, which is proven by the following US Congress New Legislation shown below.

What does this mean for me?

This simply means that the manufacturer of the machine you are using cannot void the warranty because you use supplies and products manufactured by a third party manufacturer, UNLESS they provide those supplies to you at no cost, which is typical for leased equipment.

Is this site secure?

The goal of Spot4ink.com security is to achieve one thing: Deliver credit card information from the customer to the merchant with the minimum possibility of exposure to prying eyes. Our primary tool for this is the utilization of secure data encryption. We encrypt the information between the customer and the cart, and then you retrieve credit card information the same way. Although orders are emailed to you in the clear, we strip off the credit card number, which you then retrieve through your secure browser, thus completing the secure path.

Once you reach the shopping cart check out, you will notice the "lock" symbol on the lower right hand corner of your screen. This indicates that the personal information you provide us for your order remains private and secure. In no way do we provide or sell any of your information to any other organization for any reason. All of your information remains internal for your privacy and protection. We value your business and stand behind "customer privacy and security".
